Set in Sarajevo 1992, this somewhat altered version of the original script attempted to draw a parallel between Aeschulus' play and the more modern situation in Bosnia-Hertzogovina.  The play followed a group of refugees as the audience was meant to follow them through three separate spaces.

The audience follows the refugees into the Don Powell Theatre--a raw space where barbed wire lines the seats, aisle lights shine without grates, and spotlights roam the area in searchlight fashion.  A pair of "jokers" offer some exposition and then lead the audience into the SDSU Experimental Theatre.

House lights pointed at the audience mask onstage elements.  The "jokers" complete their exposition and the audience sits for the final hour of the play.
